If I had 200m to spend on a house in Nairobi, I would never buy this thing. It is ugly to say the least, or maybe it is just me.

For 200 mil, I'd be thinking somewhere very serene. Not next to a bus stop and university. Who knows what the students might do during a strike?

Inside the house that Ali built. Read about the mansion that has set tongues wagging and an overview of other high-end properties that have put Kenya firmly on the world's opulent homes map.

In tomorrow's Sunday Nation.

If they call that house opulent,I wonder how they will describe Kiereini's house in Karen which sits on a 102 acre piece of land in Karen.

The house is ugly - poor design, poor location. The only thing about it is that its very big and occupies a large piece of land in Karen. 200M for such an ugly place is a waste of money. There's no real creativity and design that went into making it. A mkokoteni made of gold.

Agreed. The architect should be fired/deregistered.

Beauty is in the eyes of the Beholder but I will be surprised if anyone Finds this House nice and worth the money. Just wondering what A4 thinks about the design.

Apparently, most Pricey things on earth are not worth looking at
