Looks like the CBK is seeking more clout and power associated with BOJ, The FED and Bank of England through appointing the CBK chairman and offcourse trimming the powers of the CBK governor. Good move or bad move?? i think its good.The new chairman may have the Could just have the charisma of Ben Bernake and institute more regulatory measures on Kenyan Banks.
