"But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven" Someone is holding a gun infront of you,and asks you if you are christian,or tells you to denounce your christianity...what would you say? possunt quia posse videntur

This is an extremely difficult situation, and no doubt it has crossed many people's minds. Being Christian, I would respond differently depending on the question asked of me.
If the terrorist explicitly demands that I renounce Christ and my Christian faith in order to live, I would not hesitate to say no. In this case, to die is to gain. Without Christ, I am nothing.
If however, the person only asks if I belong to another religion, I would say yes, just to save my life. I can always sort this out with God and ask for forgiveness later. Here, to live is to gain.

I pity anyone who thinks they haven't gone through this... anyone who thinks that they are not going through this.. and anyone who thinks that they will not encounter this in many, if not all areas of their lives. I said it here before, persecution is not necessarily a gun, or a machete as it was in days gone by, or stones in the Bible. Persecution is all around you. Popularity, acceptance, comfort, employment, family et al I've said it again, you start living once you know the answer to why it is you live. Matthew 10:39, 16:25, Luke 9:24, 17:33, John 12:25.
