What is the most frustrating job out there. Me thinks its accounting (and banking to a lesser extent). We keep getting resignation letters at my firm. Not because of poor pay or bad working conditions,but accountants are always on the look out for 'perceived' better opportunities.

And it doesnt help that they are so many qualified out there. My boss recently told me that accounting is the only profession where you could go and shout 'who wants a job' in the street and in a radius of 100M get over 15 overqualified chaps.

Bean counting has to be the most miserable job,try counting a gunia full of beans and see if you wont lose your freaking mind. And most bean counters count beans for the rest of their career.

No wonder bean counters are the most boring people at the workplace. About upward mobility,forget it. Here in States,graduating bean counters will be the first ones to get a job offer with a decent pay(something to do with high turnover rate),but the finance or economics major will start slow and low but will rise fast.
