What is the practice world over. Commonwealth?
Armed forces is a service, not a permanent Job. Thus one can be retired at 39yrs.
They do not get night outs (per diem), no hardship allowance etc. Is it still worth the risk?

long overdue...even the president is now required to pay VAT ..what is special about this group...taxation must be seen to be equitable...we are also aware that this facility was largely misused - officers would facilitate friends get alcohol cheaply from the shops..

Let them pay...they don't do much economic activity.

They are a drain on the economy.
