First of all,the two are NOT married. Thus he would not have a title in government.

Secondly,if we did elect a married woman to be president,her husband would be 'The First Gentleman'

The word 'gentleman' does NOT have the same meaning as the phrase 'gentle man'....in the same way that the word 'chairman' is NOT similar to the phrase 'chair man'

Thus 'gentleman' is not a reflection of his gentleness,rather,it is a respectful way of addressing a man.
