Some bit of free advise bro...assuming that you are a he chicken!

Next time you enter someone's house for the first time, Please respect the man of the house. Say Hello. Introduce yourself. Be calm.

Anyway, who are you and where do you come from..
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God..

@mzalendo1..to get the best contractor, any contractor with experience in kenya and has built successfully last 5 years would be good for you. Construction costs will depend on whether you want low, middle or high cost finishes. Have your architect design to this effect. Chuna is a mixture of middle and high cost finishes, costs ranging betwee 25k to 40k per m2.
Security seems fine. There is a police post within and there is a gate manned 24 hrs.

Hi i basically have built & live there, its the most secure area in kitengela, and some Consider it as the next Runda due to its amenities,

it has an organized registered plan on amenities, schools, club house, shopping center and police post. so check with the chuna housing cooperative to:
1. get your plans approved and to know where exactly your plot lies in and also since its a controlled development ( you dont want to be pulled down)
2. there basically some fees to be paid for amenities, water and security
3. you can move on with your construction once its been verified with the chuna authorities and local council
4. there is normally a local meeting for the members i would recommend join and participate

For anyone with recent experience, what is the going price for a quarter in Chuna? I have seen offers of about 4M shillings, which I'm sure can be negotiated. What is a reasonable price today? Thanks.
