Doesnt that mean actual dividend is 8.4%?

Exactly, 8.4% in cash and 19.6% as bonus shares.
SIC needs cash to finance the ongoing land and housing projects hence the need for dividend capitalization.

@BGL, if i wanted to withdraw from the co-op, can i get everything including the bonus shares? ofcourse in cash

You just sell your shares to another sucker..sorry.. investor

Hi @tom_boy,

Just go to their site sic.co.ke and call the number down there. They will assist you.

I have seen the Land in Namanga that SIC is selling. Half acres..at 420K,

Is it worth it? Anyone with insight?

they say, 300m from Tarmac, and 7KM from Border.

Anyone in SIC considering this?

I have the very same question about the Title taking too long to process. Has anyone received any title form the sacco?

My biggest concern about SIC is over selling the plots. i.e if they have 10 plots they sell to more than 10 people hence some people end up paying but don't get allocated the plots they chose.

Is it a honest mistake or are they getting greedy?? Please make sure that you have been allocated the plot number you signed for. You may be shocked 2 years down the line that your plot has been given to someone else. You will get your money back but they have used your money to grow there company and instead of compensating you they will still charge you the 10,000 withdrawal fee.

If anyone knows how to fight this please share
