Message just in from KPLC.

Dear Customer,

Govt adjusted VAT on ALL electricity consumption from 12% to 16% effective 2/09/13.
Water Res Mgt Authority levy will be charged at 5cts/Kwhr.

I hate this insensitivity by the govt and it's time to move.

I honestly see nothing coming from china apart from cheap labour hence competitive products. which are actually western companies. What happens when these manufacturing firms relocate and concentrate in India and maybe Tanzania?
Does china hold a monopoly on cheap labour?
How long can the communist party keep the other 1billion citizens away from the national cake?
Is it still communnist or capitalist with a different political system?

That is the most easy one to blame forgetting that some National functions have also been devolved!!!!

Kibaki simply left to many holes, the money used by jubilee in the 2013 elections was very huge and must be recovered......then there is that small matter of the hague where paying the queens counsil doesn't come cheap and some more 100 MPs need to accompany Billy Wailer to the hague!!!!

Is it the dispenser which has a pasteurization facility or the miok is pasteurized elsewhere?

VAT increased to cater for hague cases? That's propaganda at work. KRA has been pushing for this for like 3 years

It was obvious that any govt. that came into power had no choice but to either increase VAT, increase income tax or go beg heavily from out.
I think what the govt. has done is the best option.

When we passed the new constitution, the consequences were we get one most expensive govt. structures in the world. Choices have consequences but I think we will do just fine.

BBI will solve it
