I always knew those fellows at iHUB were smart. But building a super computer is taking things to a whole new level.

It goes to show just why we need projects like the Laptop for schools and Konza City to take off like yesterday.

They picked this story late. If I'm not mistaken, this happened months ago.

Anyway, it's encouraging we are trying these things.. Plus i'm proud to have worked closely with Phares for two years before he went into this and many other projects he is doing now. Brilliant guy. He's got all the smarts any IT folk would wish for. Applause

Nowadays, we see a lot of support from H/w vendors, making such stuff possible.

The article does say the supercomputer project was done in January.

But you have to remember Canada is very, very far away (and cold). News takes a long time to get there.

All the same it is good to see Kenyans recognized for the right things, for a change.
