@Bigchick, @McReggae…Thanks folks for standing with me when I was away and was about to be lynched…Now let me explicate and elucidate my avowal…”But what a daft kamba woman”. If you look at the statement, the adjective ‘daft’ is preceded by the indefinite article ‘a’. ‘Kamba’ is an adverb that talks about the single noun “woman”. The context here is very specific. I am talking about one single Kamba woman who did a single act….Not Kamba women! That should be very clear…

Now if you remember the Play Betrayal in The City by Francis Imbuga (God rest this brilliant playwright in eternal peace), there is this line by Mosese , “women will never think beyond the bed upon which they hide for the night”. Here Mosese referred to all women on earth. That they are all daft. I am reliably informed that that line was pulled down from the original text by KIE. I hope this clears everything and that in no way have I ever demeaned women. I respect and adore women.

Anyway the daft Kamba is turning out to be a daft somebody else… Hii kazi iko na wenyewe…

Now you see what I was saying? You were beating up on a poor Kamba woman, yet someone else seems to be at fault. The problem of jumping to stereotype aka conclusions... at least this saga has revealed who your true friends are kambi hii.

As for the late Professor Imbuga, a man I was honored to consider a friend, teacher and mentor, I think you have a few publications to go before we can give you the same literally license that he earned.
