Safaricom Marketing Director

A few days ago Rita Okuthe was appearing on the safaricom website as the Marketing Director having been promoted from the Head of Marketing in April 2013. The website is now showing that she is the Head of Marketing, a position she previously held. Is that a demotion or what is happening there? I know a friend who declined the position of Head of Marketing Research she had interviewed for there and opted for a similar position at BAT....is there too much politics at safcom or why are there so many changes there and jobs do not seem to be secure.

May be she's not competent enough but more importantly why should we care? I dont even know the person let alone her abilities.

Barring website grammar and typos, she's widely referred to in the press as Marketing Director, and known to be quite competent if I may add...
