I pity both Arsenal and Tottenham.

Wenger will not buy QUALITY players now because of the false belief that the team has come of age. The team is still very vulnerable under set pieces. Again, the mid is not doing a good job.

AVB, on the other hand, will not get the miraculous results that he desprately needs. How many players did I see on the pitch? d'oh! They need time to gel.

As for 'Manugu', mid table beckons.

"David Moyes was the Everton manager for 11 years, and never once did he cross Stanley Park and secure a victory at Anfield. Today, like the long suffering bullied schoolboy returning to the playground with his big brother in tow, he's back with a Manchester United team at his beck and call. Moyes' appointment adds an extra edge to what was always a full-blooded, helter skelter and often controversial encounter."

The day when the battle for number 3 and 4 will begin some fans of London teams will curse 1st September 2013 esp when the difference between them and Liverpool will be 3 points. The day is coming very soon.

Three 1-0 wins for Liverpool...the train will have to stop somewhere. And while Sturridge has been magnificent...not too sure liverpool are going anywhere despite them topping the league...I see a number of draws coming up for them.

Man-u...poleni. Seems teams have wizened up... Stiffle Van Persie...and you have a no-show from Man-u...Mo-Yes must be carefully he doesnt turn out to be MO-No!

Arsenal... great goal against Spurs. Will be interesting to see how the confidence progresses. Still looking lightweight though.

Spurs...like Mancity....need to gel quickly...or this year might be a bridge too far.

So Top six standings: Liverpool(9); Chelsea(7), Arsenal/spurs/Mancity(6), Man-u(4)
