Title deeds.

Old poverty ridden men.

May the willing seller, willing buyer frenzy begin.

So. What is the going prize for a piece of land at the coast?

I wish there was a way to lock down those titles to prevent sale for a few years because I can foresee trouble because the displacement of the locals will now be total and legal. Previously the locals could claim they were squatters because they had nowhere to go and you could sympathise with them but when they get land and then sell it, on what grounds can they cry, "haki yetu!!"

Na hizi mashamba zitanunuliwa bei ya kutupa. A man who has never seen 5,000 shillings in his life thinks that a million is a lot of money and will never get finished, remember the Samburu millionares of Dol Dol?

If so, then what's all the hullabaloo about?

Why bother asking for a document that you don't need?

I think a good number will now be approached by banks [member must be making big plans] and offered loans to make permanent developments. Thus cash inflow to the region....

Very True Mukiha. Not to mention that as a land owner without title, you never really have the guts to Invest heavily on the land. People will be able to Utilize the lands without fear.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God..

Previously, they had no Title Deeds. Now with the documents, money will change hands and some will become homeless
