Solutions to this problem of road carnage must be found first in the short term then middle and long term. Wazua is a great forum and i believe we can get some great ideas if we put our collective heads together. Maybe banning night travel for long distance psvs can work for the next 2 months as they do a thorough audit on their safety. In the mid term, roads funds should be expended on making roads countrywide safer. Eg. Proper road marking, proper barriers on elevated roads, speed bumps. Long term: weed out corruption among traffic police

Strange, how we address issues, yet more accidents take place during the day than at night.
Problem is not light/darkness, but greedy bus owners,unqualified drivers and poorly maintained vehicles.
Can our roads accomodate such heavy traffic? cz that decision is retrogressive and inviting more accidents.I look at it as shifting the same problems from darkness to light.
