Just flipping through the channels and this item on Citizen Nipashe caught my attention. Over in Bungoma county, a 14year old girl just gave birth to triplets, mother and babies (all boys, two weighing 1.5kgs each and one weighing 1.8kgs) doing well. Talk of bombing kandahar
However, here's what worries me: the father of these babies is a 13year old boy, himself just as much a kid as she is. And I can't help but wonder, whatever happened to instructing our young ones on sex education? Whose role should this be - is it the parents, the church, the teachers, peers? As it is, we seem to be tossing the issue around and burying our heads in the sand while our young generation wanders around.
Endeleza mjadala....
Life is like playing a violin solo in public and learning the instrument as one goes on.
