I thought the thread's heading is about CURRENTLY CHEAP stocks that will make someone good money by END of 2014! As for me, stocks that can give 50% and above by end of 2014 are the one that are currently 'depressed' i.e. KK, Total, Mumias, CFC Stanbic, but will depend on how management pull the firms out of current woes, except for CFC which is in perfect form right now! Receive with simplicity everything that happens to you.” ― Rashi

You DO NOT buy growth stocks when the growth finally comes online! That is actually the time to sell! I see ur point. I guess I'm a value stock die hard. but id buy an undervalued growth stock if there was one. The investor's chief problem - and even his worst enemy - is likely to be himself

@Realtreaty @guru, on Scangroup, notice the "capacity boost" is via share swap arrangement and Scangroup will be issued additional shares to Cavendish. This deal is a dilution galore and is likely to result to a decline in Scangroup EPS. That, and looking at the chart below, leads to dislike of the counter at current price.

Kengen is another company with capacity boost mirage ... financial sector on the other hand has clearly attractive expansion

I think its a very profitable business in Africa.Whether is pricey or not,I can't say.Time will tell.
