I thought the thread's heading is about CURRENTLY CHEAP stocks that will make someone good money by END of 2014!

As for me, stocks that can give 50% and above by end of 2014 are the one that are currently 'depressed' i.e. KK, Total, Mumias, CFC Stanbic, but will depend on how management pull the firms out of current woes, except for CFC which is in perfect form right now!

@guru. if they are increasing capacity now, the share will only be cheap when this comes online , and by then share may have corrected to even a lower price than today to justify that cheapness.

@Aguytrying ARM is a growth stock not a value stock...

You DO NOT buy growth stocks when the growth finally comes online! That is actually the time to sell!

I see ur point. I guess I'm a value stock die hard. but id buy an undervalued growth stock if there was one.

@Realtreaty @guru, on Scangroup, notice the "capacity boost" is via share swap arrangement and Scangroup will be issued additional shares to Cavendish. This deal is a dilution galore and is likely to result to a decline in Scangroup EPS. That, and looking at the chart below, leads to dislike of the counter at current price.

Kengen is another company with capacity boost mirage ... financial sector on the other hand has clearly attractive expansion smile
