…. the choice is all yours. all the very best CAUTION - via @hisah This thing is still in dead water... FX games like KQ. And worse many houses issuing the buy slogan... A call for slaughter. If it wasnt for cost cutting and fx games this stock would still be in the red. Now that crude has been over $100 and they are off the hedging games ... mmh! If it wasnt for cost cutting and fx games this stock would still be in the red. The reason this stock is still afloat is because we are in a bull market. KK and KQ would be in very strange territory if this was 2011. Life is short. Live passionately.

YTD, this is Kenya's worst performing counter. I see a reversal of this in line with financial performance.

You'd rather KQ, why? let me tell you guys what we know 1. kk had a very bad year and the share price followed it down and may still be going down 2. kk is on recovery path and is a business very capable of producing 1bn shs + in PAT . this will likely be the case in 2014 and beyond. 3. when this happens the shares will rally as they rediscover their former glory days and at the same time a buyer may be making an offer, what with oil production getting nearer by then The investor's chief problem - and even his worst enemy - is likely to be himself

issue is why buy now and wait for 2014 and beyond for the share to rise from 10 to 20 while in the intervening period one can invest in CFC and Pan Africa which is soon to be a buy out candidate and reap by 2014 then plough back the investment into KK and KQ? i believe its all about timing and risk appetite.....

Price will not remain static but will also recover. Who knows, by the 2014, the price may be high for you and we will be laughing all the way to the bank

@hisah did you actually take a minute of your time to look at the financial statements & commentary... I doubt because if you did you might want to retract the statement above! 1.The income statements indicate a drastic improvement In gross margins! 2. The cash flow statements show 2.8billion generated from OPERATIONS... Which means they are still beating GOK price controls! 3. The income statements show no movement in the hedge reserve.... 4. The KES is weaker in H1 2013 than H1 2012 which isn't good for KK so kindly explain the "FX games" you are referring to... 5. The cash flow statement, income statement and balance sheet show that they managed a small EPS recovery without dumping any significant assets... Certainly not "dead in the water" if you asked me! It's never that easy nor perfect. A while ago, when EABL was hitting its highs, it was well sung here. Smart money, locals being bought blah, bleh, blih. What happened? Some people don't like KK, others do. That's why there are more sentiments than fundamentals from those who don't like KK. Time for Kkeians to eat will come. Traders and longterm investors cannot play by the same rules.

This strategy is probably what got him axed from the job! Strategy changes with management! THERE WAS NO SIGNIFICANT SALE OF ASSETS IN H1 2013!!!!Thank God for Ohana! Mark 12:29 Deuteronomy 4:16

KK is still under performing and its Fx dependent....management outlined a plan and 2013-14 is a recovery period with a sale due when it does better.I shall wait for that time.am with @hisah on this counter....just not yet
