What did UK do for Adika after her numerous passionate appeals? Ouru needs to identify high profile gestures n pursue them unapologetically for political capital.

This is extremely sad.

Beyond our comments here how can we help her?

Why not buy her dawa as her parents take care of her.Her son needs to go to boarding school so that he is not affected by the scenes at home

When she is back on her feet we can think of what next.....

Meanwhile its time to re-evaluate boxing as a sport.I know at least 3 guys who have lost it courtesy boxing.One of them happened when we were doing fourth form exams.The guy appeared during maths class with a 4 foot size sugar cane.15 mins into the maths paper the guy broke the cane into two.5 mins after he burst into a hysterical laughter and started eating the cane.

The last I heard about him he was picking papers at some shopping centre.

A funny, albeit sad, scene. Was he a student?
Life is like playing a violin solo in public and learning the instrument as one goes on.

Sorry I see it is a different angle. In times of plenty, think about tomorrow. Living a high spending life has consequences.

A serious indictment on how we (mis)handle our stars, in my opinion.

honest question: why should we (mis) handle them? they are adults and can make their own decisions. no? should we also (mis) handle our teachers? our doctors? maybe even our mps - they are 'celebs', you know?

@Impunity, amend the heading. "Retires to the village" may imply ako makueni junction.

This is Wazua Kweli, Makueni??

Such a sad state of affairs. I want to say that the government should step in but I am also wondering whether she invested any of her monetary awards. Or were they too little to make any kind of meaningful investment?

Investment and Achieng cannot be in the same sentence.If it were Wairimu,yes.

@Mawinder. Awa, ngwendeire Kwaria maa..
