Centum or Trancentury

Torn between these two investment companies though i find myself leaning more towards transentury. I hold small amounts of shares in both but i want to invest big in one. Centum seems to be on take off at the moment. What do you guys think of Trancentury over centum.

Short term (6 months to 2 yrs)= Transcentury
Long term (3 years and above) = Centum.

My growse with centum is that it is a mid cap counter, in their biz model they are not commiited to paying dividend, only script issue (bonuses).
The wazua spirit as members is to educate and inform and learn from others within the limit of what we know in any chosen area irrespective of our differences in tribes, nationalities, etc. .

Chris Kirubi bought a number of this chips in 1Q13 which stamped a vote of confidence on the counter. From then, its been up, up, up. Am however not keen in this counter especially after Mworia blatantly abused CMA rules and knowing that Centum earning are derived from shady valuations. The share is currently overbought

As we near the end of dividend free threshold we could see Centum climb to 40 Kes. Investors expect a handsome dividend and bonus shares to cater for the long wait. By end of march 2014 the share will be hot cake ranging upto 60 kes or more as there is a possibility of an investor from Asia coming in! (China may start acquiring assets other than searching for oil and other raw resources in Kenya and Africa)

Mark you 5B is a huge figure for Centum! Its more than half of Centum's retained earnings accumulated over very many years!!

and subsequently fined kes 50K ONLY by CMA!

As if that was not enough CMA went ahead to appoint Mworia as a member of CMA corporate governance committee. d'oh! SMH! RINK
