This is a disaster waiting to happen. Word on the street is that the Principal refused the Chinese to build it for 5m claiming that the cost is 100m. If it is true and i stress the IF, is it not playing with the safety of those kids. I have passed by there and found the girls crossing the road with the help of those traffic wardens. Tunaomba serikali...Sad Sad Pray Pray

I thought the bridge has been there for years? Is there a new one kweli.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God..

What business does the Principal have to do with the Chinese? Chinese have contract with the GOK and nobody else.

It is called stakeholder's participation.

5 million is not too cheap considering that it is a simple footbridge.

100m is too much. Unless it is a state of the art footbridge complete with an Open Sasame mechanism of the "Ali Baba and Forty Thieves fame". Everything in this country is exaggerated price wise.

Boss by the time the contract has been signed with the contractor the GOK should have cleared all the stakeholder consultations.
