Kabede did not participate in the London Olympics. This was a silly decision by the selectors in Ethiopia and even after the great Gebrselassie pettitioned the government for his inclusion in the team, Kabede was not included. Gebrselassie

You have to accept that Kabede has dominated the Marathon they way Wanjiru used to Dominate. The guy has been winning every marathon he participates. Lets pray that we produce our next champion but lets not have very high hopes.

In fact the winner of the marathon could be from a country other than Kenya or Ethiopia. Look at that Italian Straneo who almost shocked the world.
