It's scientific. Your thoughts?

This one is mberrow! Shame on you Pure attack by the enemy! I'd rather remain with my un-intelligence in the Lord!

Mr Mukiri, why do you feel attacked? Science doesn't know Mukiri. It knows facts.

And it differs on some fundamental issues with religion. Creation vs Evolution is one.

I haven't had a look at the purported 'research', for which I have alot of questions... religious people cut across all walks of life; from professors, doctors to our fore-fathers. I do know the most intelligent 'person' was Jesus Christ.. He who gave us the Bible's New Testament. A proven, tried and tested guide for life then, now and in future.

.....Don't confuse Intelligence with academic papers!!!!!

@simo ask. I invite you to ask those questions you have.
And promise to reflect on my answers, even reconsider, research objectively with open heart and open mind the evidence I will share with you.

I think it is true for fanatics...Like those who would travel to Nakuru to be healed by Dr Owuor... or those who will get a loan to panda mbegu! Religion is the opium of the people...Marx

In a way I think it's true but what I don't agree with is that being religious makes one less intelligent or being an atheist makes one more intelligent.

Two reasons. The first one is about authority. In most religions submission to authority is part of the deal whether it is God or a religious leader(s).I don't think there is anything wrong with submitting to authority but its perversion is what brings about the problems.A good example of this is 'tunaomba serekali' where citizens seem to relinquish their mental faculties to 'baba na mama' without exploring the possibilities available to them.Another example is the classroom. In some countries students engage the teacher in questions, other countries are focused on cramming. But the same problem persists among atheists.

Second reason is about 'restrictions' and priorities.Best example of 'restrictions' would be cosmology.I think atheists are more likely to explore cosmology than religious individuals due to issues that religion would raise concerning astrology. When it comes to priorities, well, believing in an afterlife will influence your actions and priorities on this earth. There is also the matter of purpose or meaning of life.Whereas religious individuals have found their answer atheists have to discover and establish their own way/answer.This exploration minus the restrictions(for the ones who explore) will lead to better exposure.

Here is one @AlphDoti ..why sometimes are innocent children born of ordinary parents afflicted with terrible and painful diseases? There are cases in papers that bring tears to your eyes. ..why does a loving God allow that to happen to little innocent souls?

@AlphDoti, Are we [human beings] alone in the whole universe? Or are there other intelligent beings?

Which is the true religion? What's the fate of the other religions' followers?

Whether through natural causes or accidents, who kills? God or Satan?

Make my evening @AlphDoti.

Atheism as we know it, is mostly an idea that has developed from the Enlightenment. And the Enlightenment and Scientific revolution left many religious people in confusion as they battled to keep their sacred institutions.

But is atheism intelligence? I doubt it. Firstly, the criticisms leveled against God are dependent on the very premises that support atheism. The Enlightenment, was a consequence of the Christian idea of God and was a consequence of its evolution. It's much like a flower calling the root 'ugly'.

Atheism can't put a claim to objectivity. It can't want anything, because wanting or desiring would imply ultimacy.

But intelligence has objectives, it has ultimates.

Therefore atheism has no 'intelligence'.
