I was watching the news and... it got me thinking about the wars in my lifetime:

* muslims killing Jews in Israel (3 wars in the past 40 years)
* muslims killing Orthodox Russians in Chechnya
* muslims killing black Christians & Animists in S.Sudan
* muslims killing black Africans in Darfur
* muslims killed Americans in USA (2001)
* muslims killed INNOCENT Kenyans in Nairobi (US Embassy bombings)
* muslims killed Tanzanians in Dar (US Embassy bombings)
* muslims killing Hindus (Kashmir India)
* muslims killing Hindus in Mumbai (2009)
* muslims killing muslims (all over the place e.g pakistan,iraq)
* muslims killing Hindus & Christians (Bali)
* muslims killing Christians (Pakistan)
* muslims killed Buddhists (Afghanistan during the taliban rule)

In my lifetime,most major wars seem to have muslims on one end.

Muslims have fought with every other major religious group (Christians,Hindus,Buddhists,Atheists) in the past 30 years.


Why?

There are very few clashes between Atheists,Hindus,Buddhists & Christians. And most are very localised.

@Reiner,turning apostate is a weighty decision - I personally think Islam is the true religion - the last Gospel - am sure there will be a lot of flaming but if people take time to read the Quran and the Bible,they will see where the Quran takes over from the Bible. Further,the Bible,whatever version we see on sale,is a culmination of many languages translated,transcribed over many centuries from Aramaic,Hebrew and other tongues of yore. Forget all the myopic and shallow arguments presented here - you should realize that Christianity has been here for pretty long and many Kenyans have embraced all it came with including capitalist and anti-Islamic ideologies. I have to keep from laughing to see the list of all the wars associated with Islam - those are waged UNDER Islam by extremists - If Islam was a religion of intolerance,Israel would haved ceased to exist 5 minutes after the Gaza strikes - its extremists within Islam as much as it was Catholics in IRA,Sikhs in India against Hindus,Aryans against Jews,etc etc. Islam actually stands for peace.

Christianity is a religion of sinners who have found a little mercy from Christ. It is God's movement and not christian's and therefore cannot be judged for the flaws of its followers who often fall short. Christ has called his followers to high standards and are required to hold themselves up to those standards-the standards of the bible. As to whether all christians abide by this is a different matter. Your decision(concerning your eternity),however fabulous can not,should not be informed by the lifestyle of the other followers for they too will be held to account on the day of reckoning. Christ during his days on earth left us a great example for us to follow. I believe all religion is good for it teaches morality and dicipline.This builds character. Having said this,I must say that none teaches these in such a profound life-altering way with a promise of a restiful eternity the way the bible does. Again,none teaches about a God that is so lovingly faithful as he is benovolent but at the same time unflinchingly punishes sin as this one. He has given us the best gift that none else can give-the gift of choice.You can choose life or death,sin or righteousness,you can even choose religion. Choose life *Reiner.

I would rather the religion of Abraham the true,he did not join gods with God.

Or do you say Abraham,Ismail,Isaac,jacob and tribes were Jews or Christians?
