Lolest! wrote:sepuku, good analysis of my postings. There are fellows who contribute ideas. Then there are guys who usually have little or no input. As a leader of such status, you are expected to give speeches on almost anything: economy, education, health, breastfeeding, nuclear power, insect research, family planning- even things you have no opinion on. So for some you may have ideas, for others you rely totally on speech writer. Kibaki, i believe, has a lot of reliance on speech writers. He has not been the same since that day when he was coming from Machakos. I didnt know this old man could write such an inspiring documents, seems its true that old is gold. Any article by Raila? RAO name has to feature everywhere in everything? I also expected some articles from him as he has even been a lecturer at The, although no student is on record as having been taught by him and the students who saw him attest to the fact that RAO was seen loitering around the laboratory corridors and in the laboratories cleaning bunsen burners. LOL after all the man claims to be an equal of Obako so it's only fair we compare apples with apples jaggernaut wrote:King G wrote:In Support of @Angelica. So you guys want us to believe that the Kibaki the one we all know wrote this article. Pleazeee, jeeezeee give me a break. He was definately assisted big time. Honestly apart from this piece, when was the last time you read from HIM. FYI - my goggles are as thick as the JKIA smoke today at 5am.
Let us not praise things for the sake of it. Ati Kibaki the Scholar, ash yawa tho. Hata kama everything tyranny is good, uolowa! Yaani you are saying that kibaki, a Masters graduate of the London School of Economics and former lecturer/scholar at Makerere University doesn't have the capacity to write such an article? ditto! The man is a genius i.am.back!!!!

No. It is about African universities and leadership. If a former lecturer and president wouldn't know that, tell me who would. Learn first to treat your time as you would your money, then treat your money as you do your time.

@sepuku, the 2002 accident. I have stated that so many times. I remember Kibaki giving an unwritten speech in western around 2004. It was about education. Encouraging students to continue with studies, he said: '..muendelee, muendelee std 6,7,8,9,10...' . When govt records get de-classified in 2043, utaskia maneno

@ Ubaks was right and you are wrong. A bit of history of our education system. . . Young boys esp those not very good at herding used to be rounded up by DO and colonial chief and sent to school. The aim was to create literate karanis for th colonial gava Basic education was up to class 4 at which level they sat a common entrance exam. Graduates at this level were employed as teachers and clerks! The bright ones and those whose parents had more cows were sent to intermediate school for class 5,6,7 and 8. Here there was an exam my history forgets the name. With an intermediate certificate you were eligible for a serious gava job then there was junior secondary and since most africans could not pronounce bomu wani (form 1) they simply said one has gone to class nine with form 2 being referred to as class 10 . At the end of juniour sec there was KJCSE.holders of these certificates were serious honchos. The choices were employment or proceeding to clas 11 and 12 i hope you get the drift forms 3 and 4. No need for telling your the cambridge graduates at grade 12 are some of the most prominent kenian scholars and founding fathers. Others proceeded to A-levels then Makerere Dar-Esalam or The UoN. Wengine went majuu Kefake is a brilliant scholar and academic . He taught at Makerere after LSE . As finance and planning minister he penned serious sessional papers that defined the development agenda of our young nation. The people who did not go to scholl or chew books properly ni kinana nanii. . . I will put the rink and shame them Lolest! wrote:@sepuku, the 2002 accident. I have stated that so many times. @siringi, I don't dispute that Kibaki is a bright guy. But, after the 02 accident he's not been the same. I doubt a man who was in govt when the system changed to 8-4-4 doesn't know how the structure is now

@ you miss the point in some bunduz like where yours truly comes from todate we refer form as class 9 form 4 as class 12. Ask around Ubaks was right the more things change the more they remain the same. The proposed reforms to 8-4-4 will take us back to the seventies. They only need to make the following important subjects mandatory examinable for faster attainment of vision 2030 Agriculture art and crafts metalwork n woodwork workshop home science music business edu econ some wazuans are sayin whoz that Lolest! wrote: @siringi, I don't dispute that Kibaki is a bright guy. Twas tis man -Prof Ouma Muga Former Rangwe MP . . .and the Ozone conference What akina Oyugi did to him even if he(muga) was bragging about it at his local after a few lagers sio vizuri wapi TJRC? Awe compensated pap. rink Prof. Ouma Muga tribulationshiyo bluetooth was a dead giveaway Lolest! wrote:@seppuku, such people have speechwriters. Like that Wang'ombe chic for UK. Remember Moi getting a standing ovation for a speech on environment in an international forum? Then he came back to authorize the raping of forests. The speech writer will write it, the big man reviews(not all do), suggest changes(mainly ideas, not words) na kazi kwisha. Why spend time thinking about speeches? Give the ideas and the speechwriter will come up with the details. Seriously, do you think Kefake could include the word bluetooth in a speech?
