VWAP of 7.70 at the close, must be the highest ever...could it lead the NSE back above 5000 in the coming days?...KCB was trading at 44.25 at the end another high.

KCB has been defying all odds. Funny how the counter has been trading good vols on a high of 44 even with expected single digit H2 numbers.
I expect them to announce something in the coming days.

Still respecting the 7.55 2013 high. Likely scenario is an inverse H&S pattern to play out before breaking above the resistance. Levels 7.00 and consolidate then pressure upwards.

And finally it materialized...

Respect cartoon please smile

Now let's see how 8.15 (all time high) is handled in coming weeks between now and H1 in Nov. Some weakens expected exdiv (Sept 14th).

CCK Sector Statisticts to March 2013
http://cck.go.ke/resc/downloads...rd_Quarter_2012-2013.pdf

- Mobile penetration reduces to 75.8%
- Mobile traffic reduces 1.2% q-on-q
- Safaricom share of voice traffic increased to 79%
- Safaricom share of SMS traffic increased to 95%
- Minutes of user per subscriber increases by 1.4 min to 81 minutes per month

- Only mobile Data is growing at 49% followed by Fibre at 41%
- Wanachi leads in fixed data subscriptions follwed by KDN, Access, Telkom, Safaricom. Jamii is 7th.

I'm eagerly awaiting safcom fibre. wanainchi for lack of a better word has become crap, I loved their services at one point, as the company grew its services and customer care detoriorated
id pay a bit more for a very good connection. access is too expensive, kdn I think concentrates on corporate, telkom don't advertise enough I was impressed by their range of internet services, but it's a company u don't know if it'll be there tomorrow. jamii is toooo expensive the faiba guys.

with good pricing and good connection safaricom can knock out telkom, access with one blow and then give wanainchi a wake up call.
The investor's chief problem - and even his worst enemy - is likely to be himself

Unlike AK, a critical 5yr resistance has been broken. That's usually significant of the bullish intension until the extreme bullish point i.e. when wanjikus pile in. Mpesa bank is still a hated stock by wanjikus... Exdiv some weakness is expected, but near term H1 results could stem off the weakness. Structure still remains a repeat of June 2012... I expect 9/-to be tested if 8.15 is breached...
