Why I fear / "hate" Going Home

just like that, this fellow has made me more patriotic. I now love matatu culture, Kenya Police, Uhuruto, Mps with their pay rises, Kenyan media, wazuans n wazua admin, Raila, the poor muggers eking out a living from our necks, conmen, slums, fans of EPL, guys who dont shower in this weather, Kazungu Kambi, the governors seeking more perks, those tuhungry dogs in the village, all ethnic accents, Madowo, potholes in our roads...gosh, i have so much to be thankful for. I am a tough guy. I live through all these and some sissy gets nightmares just imagining these.

Kiash, I'll avoid the matusi and try to motivate you to come back home.
Stay in majuu and gather as much knowledge, skills, capital, contacts and whatever else you feel you need. Once you've done so, come back to Kenya and help build this country. Even the advanced economies of the world were built on the back of patriotic citizens who slaved and laboured in less-than-perfect conditions.
Your country needs you.

Mum is sick and the 200usd you sent via western union is not enough to cover hospital bills and food. tunajua hawa watu sana... sometimes back there was an article on these kinds of people... titled antics of diaspora returnees! wakae huko wanatuchokesha wakija.... ni kama they suddenly became white folk! wasikuje huku... wajipatie shuguli huko huko! watume madollari lakini!
