@kiash you dint get my note while you were away the villagers called. They want their idiot. . . Your folks await money for the new house you promised junior and your wife miss you. They sent you a photo ![](http://www.compassion.com/multimedia/Uganda-family-outside-small-round-hut.jpg) "😖😡KQ makes money for everyone except the shareholder 😏😏 " overheard in Wazua

I wonder what we're talking about here, because down here in the mighty slums a wife will desert her husband for her next door neighbor who never fails to cook a quarter kg. of meat, your child hamias kwa jirani because you don't have a T.V. , and your cat, or chicken prefers to wander without like a hustler.
I think we are internationalizing a common feature of having insatiable demands, and always justifying our selfishness and greed.
Madam Bovary hated her husband and dreamt of running away with a prince.
But how I loath being out of Kibra! Hata kama choo ni ya C.D.F na ina crumble, 'Ngeta' or arrest is always imminent, and sickness is a crime.
There's something inside so strong. You can live a very simple and enjoyable life here. Somehow.

Jeez.

kiash wrote:This week’s airport fire confirmed my fears. Whenever I get to leave the comfort of majuu, this happens when I get to the plane and hover over Europe and then when you are done with the Mediterranean, the fear starts at least on the Italian side you might be a bit lucky in case of a plane crash on that side (check those who have been saved at Lampedusa). Once you get to African airspace start maombi coz in case of an accident, you will be ashes. Get home and
Electricity -you do not know when there is rationing or when they will say it’s a generator problem.
When you have electricity, the taps are probably dry no water
Daktari - go out there and get some cold and then get to that hospital, chances of getting the right medication God help
Airport fire/accident - Fire fighters and ambulances will take ages to get to the scene. In case you get to the emergency well the definition of emergency changes.
Wezi - Go out and have some few drinks, take a taxi, you are not a 100% sure you will get home in case the taxi driver ni mwizi pia. Next day take your car or a mat and there you do not know if you will be carjacked.
Police- get hijacked and get to the police station , ouf polisi nao, utumishi kwa wote you might think you are looking for help to go to heaven
TV content - get home and there you switch on the TV, hoping to get some local content and there you go a nollywood film ama zile za kutoka South America.
Politician - they will start telling lies for them to get elected so as to increase their salaries and show their power, petty issues how many cars, body guards blabla some retired ministers elsewhere ride bikes to work. Wakenya wajinga - who will always talk politics even when not necessary Raila hapa, Uhuruto hapa they cannot move on donge!
Football fans - those who are in blue and red jerseys talking about our team, team yenu as if they hold shares in Man uni or Chelsea some stupid ones even commit suicide. Kwenda jogging ama support Rudisha.
Some of those who share my fears just stay put in their countries of residence ulaya
kichwa yako needs examination. Even the veterans like Nabwire do not bash their motherland like you are doing. History will not remember you for your IQ. It will remember you for what you did. “Genius is 1 percent inspiration, 99 percent perspiration.” Thomas Edison

@Kiash, Who built the country you’re in to the state it is now? Do you somehow think it was magically conjured out of thin air, ready for you to enjoy? No! People over the centuries sacrificed for the very comforts you are now enjoying. People just like us here back home, sacrificing for our future generations, hoping that one day our children will have a better place to call home. Read some history. Now just imagine if all those people whose sacrifices bring you so much comfort had been just like you, running away at the first hint of hardship. Tell us, would you still want to live where you are? Sent from my Black Nokia 3310

On a very very very serious note, are the problem you have stated up there specific to Black Africans and Africa only? NO! Some European, Asian and American hoods are WORSE than Makoko Slums in Lagos (Makoko is a slum INSIDE the Atlantic Ocean)! Receive with simplicity everything that happens to you.” ― Rashi

You seem so bitter, how many times did you go begging for that visa at the US embassy kama ni wivu , pole sio mimi nilikunyima. They refused because they were sure you would not get back to Kenya.
