Actually during Ramadhan, since its not a total fast, people add weight..

How?

The body realises its not getting its scheduled portions in good measure, so as a preserving mechanism.. the little you eat at Iftar and early morning is stored well well as the body anticipates days of lack...

Man is just stressed.. he will be well

Not so true. Here in this city where i live,my mates in the office have lost about 4 kilos each.I have not seen any of them add any weight during this month of fasting.

Hassan has been sick and before that,he was fasting. And btw,if he manages to keep off the weight,he would look better and healthier,no?

Nutritionists in the house?

Well,i am telling you what i have seen, unfolding right before my eyes.
As for Hassan,I wish him quick recovery.

@famooz some people just talk. Only if you don't know what fasting is will you say fasting has no effect on person.

As for Hassan, I can only say that people behave differently when stressed.
Some will induldge more in food, that's why they increase weight. Some will have no appetite, and of course you don't need to be told what happens. They loose weight.

And we never know what he is going through.
We had fating in the month of Ramadhan.

I've lost 2kg myself. And I plan to maintain that because I think I'm overweight, inshallah.

Why are we discussing a person's health and weight issues on a public forum? I thought those are things best dealt with individually and with close family members.

How would any of you people feel if you saw your 'before' and 'after' photos being circulated around the web in jest?

Mr. Hassan is neither a model nor celebrity, so please let's give him a break.

I don't understand the obsession with 'analyzing' Hassan's weight... Seems it's giving some guys 'orgasmic' feelings... But this is Wazua for you. SMH.
