@Rassa,
I have checked the verse.
I consider that unfortunate.
Good thing is christians arent that rabid as to run apostates out of town.
Instead,they are likely to pray for such a character.
Same applies to Hindus and most others,as for Muslims,- run for dear life.

@Jitetee,

The real reason why a Muslim will lipua him/herself lies in the Quran and i quote

'So when you meet,those who disbelieve,smite at their necks till you have killed and wounded many of them,then bind a bond firmly. Thereafter (is the time) either for generosity,or ransom,until the war lays down its burden.'

The only time the Muslims will truly be peaceful is when there are no other disbelievers. Peace is simply the world under Islam..............On the other hand is a christian,who by the teachings of Jesus,will throw himself on top of a grenade to protect his brother and keep peace...........surely.....!!!

In that case there is not likely to be peace in the world.
The culprit - you guessed right the cultic leaning religion,led by fire-breathers.
No wonder the free world has major reservations to Islam.
The middle east question will never be resolved.
What with having to deal with cultists.
And while at it why do the infidels always seem to carry the day at the expence of the practisers of the superior religion.
May be,just may be, the infidels God is better.

@ Ngalaka

Do you consider God words unfortunate ?

Is this the reason why Bible is constantly been revised?? To weed out expired teachings? This practice is UNFORTUNATE. If you cant stand God teachings then you are better off as atheist.

We can draw lessons from the past,but we cannot live in it.

An atheist who doesnt wrap oneself in explosives is hundred times better to dwell amidst,than a religious man who keeps the world in war.
Give me an atheist who believes in peace both in word and deed,as he/she respects everybody else.
The key thing here is co-exist peacefully as we all mind our business,as we remain rational and reasonable.

9 And for this God raised him high,and gave him the name which is above all other names;

10 so that all beings in the heavens,on earth and in the underworld,should bend the knee at the name of Jesus

11 and that every tongue should acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord,to the glory of God the Father.

@Njung'e

I was hoping for direct feedback from a Kenyan Muslim but so far I will have to make do with your responses. Thanks.

Guess it's another bad day at the office. Maybe I'll have better luck next time.

In the old testament which is widely read by our brothers,the law code is clearly set out by God himself (Gen-9:6).Let's try and see who comes closer to the law code.The dude who uses Hammurabis law of 'An eye for an eye' or one who uses Jesus teaching of 'Love thy enemy?'..........

The law is deterent and thus should be treated like a lighthouse throwing it's light to sea at night.We hear little about shipwrecks but we do not hear about the number of ships the lighthouse guided to safety.We do not have proof of the number of ships the lighthouse has saved........Yet that does not translate into a good enough reason to pull the lighthouse down.........Let he who wants to kill,kill himself first.

According to facts,Islam is the fastest growing Religion in the world especially in Europe and America. Am sure all of us agree,but have you asked yourself WHY?

Jesus is a Muslim

http//www.geocities.com/Athens/agora/4229/jam.html

Jesus taught to rinse before Praying as Muslims do {John 13:10}

Jesus bowed down in Submission on the Ground to God as Muslims do {Matthew 26:39}

Jesus said,all of You who Submit your will to God,are my true Brothers and Sisters (Mark 3:31-35) as Muslims do

Jesus taught Salvation comes from Submitting your will to God and Faith as Muslims do

What other evidence do you want? just wait for Americans and Europeans to become Muslims.

NB- It is believed that when all whites convert to Islam then the blacks will follow them.
