cleaning the cup on the outside makes no difference if the inside is left dirty...and somebody said clean the inside first and the outside will be clean.it is not what we eat that makes us dirty but what comes from our hearts.if you hate your brother you are a murderer...so when people kill on the assumption that they are doing it for God what is that?for God says take no revenge upon yourself for he will do it himself.who are we to kill for God doesnt He have all power to do just that...you are not headed the right way my brother.CHRIST IS THE ONLY ANSWER.

@Jitetee Whenever you begin to pose some pointed questions,everybody finds a convenient excuse to attend to other pressing matters. Remember,just like your question, in the other thread about Gaza,we asked questions about the best way out of the age long mess,- guys fizzled out polepole. What do Bible tell us about apostates. Read it for yourself
'Suppose someone secretly entices you—even your brother,your son or daughter,your beloved wife,or your closest friend—and says,‘Let us go worship other gods’—gods that neither you nor your ancestors have known. They might suggest that you worship the gods of peoples who live nearby or who come from the ends of the earth. But do not give in or listen. Have no pity,and do not spare or protect them. You must put them to death! Strike the first blow yourself,and then all the people must join in. Stone the guilty ones to death because they have tried to draw you away from the Lord your God,who rescued you from the land of Egypt,the place of slavery.' (Deuteronomy 13:6-10)
Yes Christian have been taught to STONE THEM TO DEATH....In other words kill them..
We can draw lessons from the past,but we cannot live in it.

@Rassa, Do they. cite a case of a cristian who killed for apostasy. The only people who practise this are muslims,period. That to me is the lowest one can go. It is not for you,me or anybody else for that matter,to unduly pressure anybody to worship our deity. Things arent always the way they look like Isuni yilu yi maa me muyo - ni Mbisuu

@Rassa, Your understanding of the Bible comes to an abrupt end......Very sorry.You need to follow through with the teachings of Jesus in the New Testament to get a very good grasp......Correct me if am wrong.Isn't it true that Quran affirms to the second coming of Christ?......If that be so,where will be Mohammed and his wives?......Si watakuwa raia kama wewe na mimi?...........Bowing to the King?..... Guka wa bijuti... Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

The point has been made,Christians have been taught to kill apostate.Like it or NOT. If you dont follows your Bible then what is the point of calling yourself a Christian??

I was once a very committed xtian,all through high school,and Uni,but i never felt like i connected to God,plus i don't know how to worship God,i also don't understand the trinity.
At work,i met some Muslim ladies,who helped influence my decision. After going through the Koran,i prefer the laid down guidelines of the Koran (to pray 5 times a day,among ohthers...)than the 'blind faith' us Christian should have.
On Tuesday,i made an appointment with a certain sheikh,he wants to see me on the weekend;a one-on-one b4 i start the classes.
I am also telling my family this weekend,then start the process of changing my names,or i adopt a muslim name,dress modestly,(i have been taught how to funga the hijab)
I believe God will show me the way,i am still praying about it.He hasnt answered so far..

let me try to act the judge here.
Ok now,so this is where we are going by the latest posts :
1.Christians are instructed to kill apostates but are not doing so. Therefore they are living in disobedience to their faith.
2. Muslims have also been instructed to kill apostates and they are actively doing it. And so are living in obedience to their faith.
Confirm?
