Remember KQ has the highest number of flights landing/ departing from JKIA. An yes I know the difference between KQ and KAA . The reason why i am disputing the "loss" issue is because KQ has insurance which would definitely cover this inconvenience. Airline insurance covers, Public Liability Insurance, Passenger Liability Insurance- this covers the hotel issue, etc. Its very likely KQ has also cover to compensate for lost business in such an eventuality where they have to land elsewhere. So this is a loss that will be passed to a third party, I however would like to know who is the insurer. KAA on the other hand will have to compensate all airlines that were to land and depart from JKIA for lost business, they might even pay for the hotels etc. Without insurance no airline would be operating at a profit in this world. I can't wait to watch this fire saga on XYZ show. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

So will KQ file a claim with insurance co. for the 'lost' business that I would have given them? i.am.back!!!!

On the brighter side, hope that we'll get a new modern airport. It doesn't feel good good being greeted with JKIA, as it was, after arriving from a modern, foreign, international airport. They tried to bury us, they didn't know we were seeds.

ai,where's proof of contract between you and kq? hapo hakuna kesi.lol That's the point. I am trying to show @murchr how KQ is loosing coz of such incident but he insists that's insurable. If I had booked but KQ was unable to transport me and I claimed a refund, that's another story. i.am.back!!!!

So since there were no sprinklers, or smoke alarms or watchful askaris, should we assume that they also won't have any security footage to look at?

If I had booked but KQ was unable to transport me and I claimed a refund, that's another story. If I was KQ and in a normal day I operate 20 departures but because you couldnt facilitate that as per our earlier agreement then you should compensate me for the loss incurred. Its business hakuna kuongea mingi. The agreement is btwn KQ and KAA and not you the pariah traveler. You the traveller with no contractual agreement with KQ can get yourself alternative arrangement.
