If KAA supported the 7s then that would have made some little sense.

I'm looking at some of the posts and I'm SMH. Guys taking the conspiracy route while it's quite oblivious that COMPLACENCY played a huge role.

Sad eh....apparently Alai tweeted at around 2.08am saying a small fire had been detected at JKIA and wanted anyone around there to confirm...well then guess he was right Sad

When does @Alai sleep?
d'oh! d'oh!

So unfortunate that JKIA can just burn like a kiosk. Disaster Management dictates that in such facilities there should be automatic fire sensors and water sprinklers at corridors , toilets etc. Am amazed we are talking of vision 2030 and yet we cannot get basics right.

Rumour: fire engines arrived 2 hrs after fire started.

A witness interviewed by NTV two hours ago indicated that only one truck was dispatched to the area but the fire was spreading very fast. There lies the answer.

What do you mean one truck, i thought an airport would have way more fire trucks on standby?? qualifies as a rumour...

This was at around 4.30 AM. One truck only!

ION, what happened to live reporting? The media arrived at the party very late. As late as 8 Am, media houses were still reading tweets!

Very sad day. Very shameful. Very depressing. Fires are bound to happen, the problem is fire control preparedness. Planes do catch fire too. Again, this is shameful. National shame.

In 2009, we organised for some disaster preparedness forum. I had the chance to invite a MPig and 2 persons working in special programmes min. Instead of concentrating on Learning, they were 'hunting ' for girls...'white girls',The mpig was as useless as the rest!.
