Even if men were to vote for her,the only thing that will bring her down is other women.

Short memories ! At times we behave like sheep ! Martha was one of the cause of PEV together with karucy and all those arrogant and egocentric spitfire which were coming from the mafia clique with a finality that Kenya belongs to a certain group of people ! Wrong ! It gave a fertile ground for other people to organize themselves and we all saw the resultant ! Martha has never been a reformer and will naver be one ! Let her market herself wherever but one thing that will never change soon is that she will succeed in dividing the central province votes coz she will never get any votes from anywhere else ! This is also true for Uhuru,Kalonzo,Saitoti, regardless of the coalition which will have been formed at that time ! But what i know is that the damn people we all hate is where our leader will come from coz that is enshrined and it is very articulate in our constitution !
He has to come from one of the existing parties and he has to have the support of the party leaders first before he is presented to the electorate for approval or disapproval !
We are caught in a catch 22 situation till we drive a certain generation into extinction !

with the current crop of leaders, one wud huv to kill me to vote.

how can i drop a ballot for some1 whom i feel is sub-std? i'd rather not waste my time and conscience.

ati my VOTE COUNTS. hiyo ni hogwash ya bad politicians. i simply cant bring myself to vote for a crappy leader.

no wonder kenyans are said to have short memories...look at all the politicians vying for 2012. cant we all question their integrity to say the least (karua inc)?

retirement at 40.

As much as i cant stomach another Mt.Kenya presidency,i'm willing to give karua a hearing man.I also feel that among the current crop of Hooligans masquarading aa Leaders, she is the lesser devil...This country is at crossroads and doin the same things wont help this time...and that same thing includes voting for a man again..lets try a woman, they are less prone to be corrupt..unless we men who wanna corrupt our way to riches to acquire more wives, property and show off to fellow men...She deserves a hearing

Its the Economy..Stupid!!!!!

It is amazing seeing the so called leaders of tommorow using excuses like:

Karua is a Woman
Karua is from Mt.Kenya
Karua was in PNU

as excuses not to vote for someone who has proved time and again that she has principles, says what she means and has no pending or imagined corrupt case.

You guys just amaze me. Some other post on this very forum is talking about what is ailing Kenya. Why not come here and see the views being propagated against Karua.

No wonder you stick to the same old tired issues of complaining about politicians.

I will vote for the leader who

has shown that they can develop their area with the little they have,(Karua,Peter Kenneth,or any other you can show me)
Is not corrupt or has not been named in any type of corruption, real or imagined
Has principles he/she can stand for and doesn't follow odm/pnu upus
Knows something about the right of any Kenyan to make a living anywhere, anyplace, anyhow as long as they are within the law

If these are too hard to swallow for you, then take a chill pill. So far,I will definately not vote for my MP,I will not be voting for any of the guys who wish to run for president other than Karua.

For those who think that she can't be elected because she was a woman,I saw first hand and not on KTN a pure breed red neck say that he was tired of business as usual and would rather elect a black man who has principles.

Go Karua!

Does it occur to the male chauvunists and doomsayers here that she was second to Raila in the last Opinion Poll..?That means people are taking note of what she's sayin, jana they tried to link her with Mungiki and i liked how she shot them down, everbody from vigilante to mungiki should face the due process of the law and should not be subject to extra-judicial executions...That is respect for the law,Period.I bet my gonards that come 2012,she will be the Man..sorry,woman to beat.Dear Kenyans,we cant continue doing things the same way,as Juliani said...

@Waswa,

1) Only ma Born Again status can give me the strength to forgive Martha for her role in PEV-From her utterances and all.God's Mercies endureth forever. But this will definately work against her.

2) Do you believe Kriegler's report??

3)What will she offer that has not been promised by every other leader in this country??

Only God Knows................God Bless Kenya.

My main problem with Karua is that she is so full of hatred.........and I can't forget January 2008 when she believed so much in the Kenyan courts and was the biggest hardliner even exchanging words with Annan!!!!

@3piece. Your vote does not count if you dont vote. You dont need a politician to tell you that. I understand your position. You feel that the crooks offering their candidature are not worth to be leaders. This is the reason why you should urge people you feel have the potential to offer great leadership to come forward and tell us what they have in store. As someone said, you can not vote for someone who is not on the ballot paper.
