What if the telephone giants claims the server crashed and therefore no data is available?

What will @Mrs. Ndetei and her son @Mr.Managu do?

Would safcon keep phone logs, mpesa txns and SMSs of its >10m subscribers for this long (>5yrs)? Ponder that cloud computing came juzi tu and that would require lots of storage space/ financial investment. Just wondering.

Legally they are supposed to be kept for 7 years.
my take is that UK want to Implicate evil society (NGO) for witnesses coaching.

Some other sources claim that UK's lawyers want Safaricom and Airtel to be compelled to release data that could prove some of the witnesses have been compromised by certain individuals. Steven Kay (UK's lawyer) did say he the confidential suit was to "protect ICC victims and witnesses"

am not sure about this blog but it was quoted in some magazine i had read earlier today

Phone records from the post-election period for 10 personalities mostly pro-Kibaki including current President Uhuru Kenyatta's (both Safaricom and Airtle lines), a former State House operative, a Naivasha politician, among others were procured from mobile operators Safaricom and Airtel by ICC prosecutor Fatou Bensouda late last month and early July.
