Okay.Forget putting yourself in the line of fire. People still do not speak out when they see an injustice. I can bet you $1000 that people would just look and stare silently if a woman is beaten on the streets.

Since I can see you are very strong willed. This is what I would advice. Next time someone hits you, make sure you fall down and feign serious injury. Don't laugh, such actions have been known to make a lot of money for some people and its also one of the reasons americans are richer than us.

When you get to the hospital always say your head is aching terribly and your back is tormenting you.....Don't forget to make the mandatory purity mwambia moans.

Trust me, someone will pay. Don't ask me how I know.

Don't just be hit and get up. Get hit and lie their still and moaning every 67 seconds. Google "how to fake an injury after an accident"

Wololo...the results :)

Strategy, and costs are key. But people can speak out. I can speak out.

i agree. never argue with a fool nor invite the wrath of the wise. @ the notorius Githurai roundabout the trademark buses used to block and obstruct with relish. one day, Tsyekulu hooted at one of them to give way. The bus driver in a moment of inspiration decided to reverse and teach the the driver of the kiberiti like car manners, and broke its headlights for cathartic effect, he then sped off. the spoken word is that it was a wrong move. a little courtesy helps.

@Chepkel pole sana...and I totally agree with you..Kenyans will never speak up...its the culture. That's why when someone writes about a revolution here I blast them because it seems many dont know themselves. We shout loudest, but are very timid and don't fight for what is right.

Pole sana @Chepkel
I know just how annoying it is! Kenyans seldom speak out.. I always wonder why 13people seated in a matatu fear just 2 people(driver & conductor) *sigh*

If driving,it's of course tricky to pull some stunts but if you're in a matatu..then pull a stunt or two or ten!

As for the bit about a woman being beaten on the streets,i once witnessed this.. I was walking with a friend of mine(a lady) when we heard screams from a dark street corner, peering closer.. it was a young lady with a man smashing his huge fists on her face. Surrounding the scene were about 12men,all watching silently. My friend and I were beyond furious.. We had to break the fight by pulling the man away, for which he threatened to beat us up & kill us(and he was a huuuge man!) but we dared him to even try lay a pinkie on any of us. Long story short, our guts paid off and we walked away with the terrified girl(apparently his 22yr old girlfriend) with the man following us with insults. What he didn't know is that we had txtd another pal and asked him to come with cops. Ghafla bin vu,cops came and the idiot was taken away. The now 20+ onlookers wanted to know who we were and why we stood up for that girl amidst the danger of being beaten up by the man

We live in a very interesting society, full of fearful people. If we all stood up for what we believe in,things would be different. Don't give up @Chepkel,stand up and speak out whenever you can! 5 cheers to you btw! Applause Applause
