Met some today at 8 pm as i was coming from shags with a four yr old andd an almost full car. They wanted to force me to take a victim to a hospital. It is a busy road and i did not see the sense of squezzing an unconsciuos patient next to a child and risk traumatising a kid for life were anything to happen on the way. What would you have done?

If you were the unfortunate victim, what would be your thoughts?

I would expect the person involved to be rational. Another victim as a result would not better my situation.

I know for sure you do not believe this..... Not when you feel there is a chance of your life being saved even if it is with a little inconvenience to another person. That is what being human is.... Rational only exists when you are not at a tight corner and especially when your life is not in the line.

As unlikely as it may seem, I do mean it ma' am.

This guy is set in his ways.. no need trying to reason/engaging him. I have a feeling if God was to talk to him, he'd have the nerve to answer back.

@hard-head, whatever your choices are, it is my prayer that God's will, will manifest in your actions. For try as you may to exert yours, His, will always prevail... if it means the Biblical whale swallowing you, to have you, where He wants you to be, doing what He wants you to do!

I thought it was a case of busy bodies who end u messing the situation....not a case where one could help but choses othewise!!!....people are different, out of Kibera on the Magiwa/Ngumo Rd they once stopped me, many times they try to harrass you coz they think (as is always the case) you will drive away, when I stopped and told them to put the mama in (offloading some other friends in the car) they became the most cooperative lot!!!!...that was a wonderful night I had even though I had to clean the blood the following day.

Some have helped angels unawares.
Always imagine -it doesn't cost a thing to imagine, that the person in need of help could be an angel in disguise, that angel holding your breakthrough for life, you will never see circumstances,be inconvenienced, blood or stress, but an opportunity for lifetime blessings.

I am amazed at the way people here are giving @thuks a beating! The dude was not in a position to help,he has said he was coming from shags, what were you expecting hm to do? Offload the people and take the person to hospital? We have all been in situations where we wanted to help but could not,or where we could have done more, but didn't.So wachaneni na @Thuks.

He has heard enough scriptures and guilt trips about helping angels etc etc etc and the good samaritan etc etc and blind bartemeus etc etc. And now before to descend on me,I have a heart, conscience and I help.
I am happy

I agree.

We live our ideal lives in the lives of the next person. In case of failure, its easier to beat up the guy, to a pulp if necessary.

Where Thuks 'failed' others might 'excel' and

where others 'fail', Thuks just might 'excel'.
Just for Mukiri.

I remember one time back in the day, it was raining heavily, i was in a drenched suit, and i had run for about a kilometer, just before reaching home, a lady driver stopped her 'alfa saud' car (a newly respray painted second hand), her kids were inside, and she offered me a lift home, i told he "nimeshafika", dozens had passed by, very odd, there was a time people used to great each other allover, kindness used to be second nature, now people ask so many genuine questions over what was previously a simple "life and death" situation, sijui twaenda wapi?
