So far, this life has taught me, 'You plant, You harvest'. I am a sum total of decisions I made a long time ago. I know that my choices now, will determine my life in old age.

Many use the Bible to help them 'get to heaven'.. It's ones prerogative, I guess. I use my Bible to guide me on my life on earth. Its proven and tested, has helped many people live a good life (whether or not they get to heaven) and I can see it working for me.

Considering, that Christ is the hungry man, the sick, and naked, would you say the Bible has served you well?

In whose life do you expect to see the effect of your righteousness?

Maybe your time would be better spent on your knees seeking the answers to questions that gnaw at you...

Is this a version of, 'Mind your business'?

Paradoxically, I am on my knees now. And @Mukiri happens to be 'eavesdropping'.

I'm not that rude.. God is wiser than any of us purport to be. He has all the answers. If you ask me, I'll only fiddle with my Bible, for which you also have a copy.

You have clearly misinterprated my post.
God hates homosexuality.
God hates the sin not the sinner.
That is why He died for the sinner.
If the sinner does not see this, and does not turn away from homosexuality, He will go to Hell.
Lets call it like the bible says it.
Not what Desmond tutu says.

To everyone his own I guess.

I am with the Archbishop on this one, not your homophobic God.

Am back. Have you seen the caveat in clubs that says that Management reserves the right of admission? That is what the church in Africa is saying. Not because it is more righteous but because they just do not want to feel compelled to do something they do not feel comfortable with. God created man and woman..to be companions and compliment each other. If he is so tolerant on homosexuals, then explain why he destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah and in the process turned Lot's wife into a pillar of salt just for looking back. The Christian God is a God of wrath (fire and brimstone). Read revelations and find out what kind of a God He is. He is not all lollipops and goody goody feelings. So please stop looking at us as the intolerant ones. We just want to be left alone. Let they LGBTs open the own church like the marrying priests have done with the catholic church. Elect their own Pope and what not and we will not give a shit otherwise. But to tell us that God wants us to accept them...let a modern day prophet get the Word from God and we will believe..What? We will even ordain them.

I wish Christian fanatics would not use this as an example to prove God's hatred of gays - as if that somehow justifies their own fear and hatred.

A God who bombs a city, killing women, children, animals - guilty and innocent - just because it harbors a few gays is worse than homophobic.

Genocidal, is the word I am looking for.

This is the being you want us to worship?

@ wakanyugi I say again, God is not mocked. Be careful what you write.
I dont mind being called a fanatic really. The Bible tells me to expect this, hence it means my message is really botheting someone!

Are you Marko now?

Anyway this is a free country. You can worship who you like.

I'll simply not be counted among you.

A god who has to result to threats, murder and Xenophobia to keep his followers 'worshiping' him lost my vote long ago.

I guess you're right. I must accept the silence of God, and be still.

Alas, the silence says 'Yes', to everything.

Silence of God? Kiyana toa mbegu! God is always 'talking' to us... 'Be still...' you've been told... 'Shut up..' 'Seek..' 'Kneel..' PRAY!!! And maybe, just maybe in the midst of your noise-making... in the midst of your know-it-all, you will 'hear' Him.
