@obiero, Tomorrow is here, report what you remember before @guru wakes up.

@guru means nothing to a good number of people here.. just a know-it-all.. respect is earned, such as @stocksmaster @pkoli @spt @vvs anywho, here are the results for the top three banks:
H1 2013 versus H1 2012
Equity PBT 9.5B 25%UP
KCB PBT 9.2B 7%UP
COOP PBT 6.9B 40%UP

We now await KCB & COOP announcements to complete the big three

As we await the numbers,KCB has closed today at its highest price ever @ 42.75

@cnn u must mean its highest price this year. I remember selling some KCB at KES 215 years back, around 2005..

@cnn. it is overpriced. KES 30 is my fair price based on competitor strategies and market shifts.. in the nearterm this lion will be wounded severely by COOP & EQUITY, who are both close to government powerbrokers.. dont look at only PBT, read reports on bank's market share to understand my logic..

@Obiero,thumbs up. You came close on Equity. I hear simba will release its results towards end of August. I bet releasing results that put their profit growth at <10% must be really hard.
