Clearly. A lost sheep.

Jesus accepted everyone to his teaching...but we he followers think that by judging other, we are pleasing God. The problem with us is thinking that when we become religious we become utmost righteous...but what i have seen with Christians instead we become utmost pretenders....I would rather Tutu who has a reason as to why he has chosen that path, that one who has no idea why he opposes homosexuality. My question is, who created them? God????
You cant win, unless you first begin....

Due to my profession, I can judge a good chicken egg from a bad chicken egg. In fact, I can throw away one before you eat it, just by looking at it.

But I'd rather not start judging who will go to heaven and who won't. I have a funny feeling that there shall be a few surprises for some of us when such a day comes.

Until God comes and tells me unequivocally and not in a dream or through a "human" pastor/clergy/prophet/etc I will stay out of judging other people based on what I perceive to be right or wrong.

What some of you are writing borders on blasphemy.
Be careful. God is not mocked.
God hates homosexuality. Period.
If you have a problem with that you are treading on dangerous ground.

The greatest Christian I have ever met was a street preacher who came to our village years ago, when I was a little boy. I have never forgotten these words from him, even though I have heard them repeated many times:

"God hates sin but he loves the sinner. This is the reason he sent his son Jesus to Earth."

I don't pretend to understand Christianity, really.

But I can't help wondering. Does your "God hates homosexuality" mean he hates homosexuals?

Otherwise I can't see where Bishop Tutu is wrong in saying God loves all people, period.

You have clearly misinterprated my post.
God hates homosexuality.
God hates the sin not the sinner.
That is why He died for the sinner.
If the sinner does not see this, and does not turn away from homosexuality, He will go to Hell.
Lets call it like the bible says it.
Not what Desmond tutu says.
Peace in our Homeland.

kamundu...do you have the keys to hell or you are the watchie there who will say who will enter or not?

You know not when He is coming. Judge lest you be judged. He died for your sins etc etc are obviously very difficult for some "christians" to comprehend.

What is amazing is that "christians" are the most intollerant lot of humans on earth right now. Yet this religion was started with they being the most hounded humans on earth. It's a case of the hunted becoming the hunter.

I will only believe someone is in hell when I see them in hell. Not when some pastor who's ordained himself or been ordained by other pastors who ordained themselves. After all when they said, do not kill, did they also include the famous King David killing Goliath? Or is there a caveat in the 10 commandments?

Im saying what is in the bible. Lets not sugar coat the gospel. @alma I hope we are reading from the script.
Sugar-coating the gospel makes people continue living in sin, yet believing they are destined for heaven.
God loves man, even died for Him on a cross, kwani what more does man want?
its not intolerance my friend. Its called tough love.
If my brother was a homosexual, I would tell him same.

For the wages of sin is Death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord Romans 6:23
