How can Sh.160,799.00 disappear in my account overnight? Jana asubuhi pesa ilikuwa Sh.80,430 then around 2pm sh.80,369 ikaingia kwa account from abroad. Leo asubuhi around eight, opening balance sh.0.00 and available balance sh. -30.00. Nani anweza saidia. The bank is not responding to my emails. Man must live!

You mean you cant walk to your branch & ask?How are Wazuans supposed to help you recover the money? Formally employed people often live their employers' dream & forget about their own.

On a serious note run to your bank or nearest branch.Fraud zimezidi sikuhizi especially mobile na internet banking.There are also cases of identity theft where a person purpoting to be you delivers instructions for RTGS and before you know it, your money is gone. Yeah thats true but most of this banks are complacent when payong back after such issues it can take months before you see that cash and thats after numerous demand letters the best thing is its paid with interest if you follow the kortini route....@urstill have you been helped. possunt quia posse videntur

I think either CBK or money laundering unit at CFC have flagged your account. You have to go to your bank, see the manager and prove the source of that money and the purposes. Set out to correct the world's wrongs and you will most certainly wind up adding to them.

It is said that if Bill Gates dropped a $100 note while working in his office, it wouldn't be worth for him to stop work and bend down to pick it. In the time it takes to bend down to pick $100, he'd lose a lot more! It seems that whatever you are doing is a lot more valuable than chasing a mere Sh160,799 that has disappeared from {not "in"} your account. Otherwise, you'd have gone there kitambo and sorted the matter out. Why are you choosing to just send emails? Why not call them? Typical mindo-crass: just likes to complain in the mass media but don't want to take any action! Nothing is real unless it can be named; nothing has value unless it can be sold; money is worthless unless you spend it.

It can cause a run on deposits and this can shake the entire industry.Even Equity cannot survive a run on deposits. So unless you are out to malign them/it, wachia hapo. I am just wondering why there are many CFC STANBIC this and CFC STANBIC that stories here. I don't know, maybe am the only one who is lucky to have a great banking experience with them or should i just wait for my day to come and only then will i realise they are not the good people i always believed they are?

Am not denying that how the various banks resolves this small issues seperate the good from the bad but i know of a worse bank that couldn't even release me, without things getting ugly, by giving a clearance letter so that my salary could go to CFC STANBIC. So far i haven't had an issue that my current bank hasn't solved swiftly.
