When a Lion wakes up in the morning, it knows it has to run... and run faster than the antelope, or it will sleep hungry. When an antelope wakes up, it knows it has to run.. run faster than the lion or it will be eaten. Is it so in your life? A life of running? Mathew 11:28-30 3 Things 1. An invitation to Jesus Christ In those times, as is in these, there were many gurus to choose from.. Jesus invited people to Him. He knew that anything else that seeks to quench your 'thirst' will only leave you unfulfilled and yearning for more. 2. An invitation to the weary He cured the sick, raised the dead etc to 'tell' us to go to Him.. He was able to ease your load. Are you tired? Burdened by rules and regulations (Mat 23:4), by (grand)children(good gone bad?), maybe your spouse(love turned sour?), the guilt of sins committed? The aftermath of such sins?witchdoctors, abortions et al 3. An invitation to a new relationship He calls you to switch burdens... When breaking a young bull, its tethered to an old experienced bull. The young trys all manner of maneuvers to get free whilst the bull in obedience to the farmers instructions not only gets working but carries the weight. Riakanau was mentioned, where women would board the bus, get seated but still carry their heavy sacks on their laps. Is that you? Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in.

1 Corinthians chapter 13
Even if I record the sermon,
and narrate it verbatim,
but have fiendish delight
In calling other human beings ng'ombe
Then I am merely a tinkling cymbal.

Hello All, I invite you to ponder on this scripture a little bit. Matthew 7:21-23 New International Version (NIV) Quote:21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’ Do you of the charismatic persuasion wonder.. a little bit who Jesus is talking about ? Do you wonder how it is possible to prophesy, drive out demons and perform miracles and yet have Jesus say to you ...plainly... I never knew you? Do you wonder if it is possible to know the difference ? Contrast that with this... Matthew 25 Quote:34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ Tafakari haya kwa utulivu...

Keshas.
Many prophesyings later, Many demons chased later, many miracles performed later.
Doings? Pshaw! 'We are under grace!'
We can abuse 'strangers' they stay on their side and us on ours. No intermingling.
Experiential christianity.
It will be a shock on that day when the irrevocable denial will be proclaimed.
These posts will be remembered.

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.... Mark 5:1-8 Then they came to the other side of the sea, to the country of the Gadarenes. And when He had come out of the boat, immediately there met Him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no one could bind him, not even with chains, because he had often been bound with shackles and chains. And the chains had been pulled apart by him, and the shackles broken in pieces; neither could anyone tame him. And always, night and day, he was in the mountains and in the tombs, crying out and cutting himself with stones. When he saw Jesus from afar, he ran and worshiped Him. And he cried out with a loud voice and said, “What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I implore You by God that You do not torment me.” For He said to him, “Come out of the man, unclean spirit!” This Jubilee year shall be a relief to all and sundry.. 50 day of prayer and fasting leading to restoration.
