Then, if this company is doing this badly, is there something the financial institutions are seeing that we are not seeing because they are funding this organisation massively... they must have submitted some "convincing" reports or is there something we are missing or worse still, something the financial institutions are missing?

Talk of going under continues >>> KQ lawyer Walter Amoko has said if the retrenched-employees reinstatement order is not suspended, the company would go under due to the higher wage bill.
Are we being prepped for a collapse?! Pesa Nane plans to be shilingi when he grows up.

I just bought more KQ yesterday to average down..I must say 9.50 is a really good buy for me and for those die hard KQ investors. I'm looking forward to holding the counter until mid 2015 when the price will be trading in mid 30's-40. Don't ask me how I came up with those numbers. Good luck! Knowledge is contagious...Infect truth!

good luck to you too. I am tempted to average down too but 40 bob in 2015 seems too optimistic

And some thought the guy who sued KQ to stop the Rights Issue was crazy. I was re-reading this post (link below) and in retrospect you can see the Rights Issue & Project Mawingu [as envisaged] was a disaster not seen by many. http://coldtusker.blogsp...q-rights-issue-2012.htmlGreedy when others are fearful. I for one never believed in mawingu and the rights and i still don't. save for the right cash i think this company would be belly up by now. @Rich has been very bullish about this counter for a long while now. I wonder at what price he got in and whether he will be lucky to make a gain from this anytime soon

RSI oversold since 2012. When the rebound comes, it'll be vicious. 200% rebound is very likely on that occassion.$15/barrel oil... The commodities lehman moment arrives as well as Sovereign debt volcano!

I have confidence in this counter i think the news November will sound good (increase in flights, hopefully the passenger numbers too) and if they locked in fuel price at 90s or below, Naikuni will have a good story. Is KQ referred to as a parastatal? "There are only two emotions in the market, hope & fear. The problem is you hope when you should fear & fear when you should hope: - Jesse Livermore .

murchr wrote:Is KQ referred to as a parastatal? @murchr in order for a company to be referred to as a parastatal GOK must own at least 50% + 1 shares! That's not the case in KQ! Mark 12:29 Deuteronomy 4:16

Just waiting for that volume story.$15/barrel oil... The commodities lehman moment arrives as well as Sovereign debt volcano!

That notwithstanding, he must have sunk lots of money here from many years back. I even remember him hyping the April 2012 rights issue @14bob
