Degree by distance learning

Fellow wazuans, i am seriously considering for an undergraduate course by distance learning. Preferably in an European University or India. Is there anyone who's got experience in these issues. I am self employed and i am not seeking it for employment but with the new world order..... read entry into politics and Board of director positions, i may need it for future progression and networking purposes. Please enlighten me on how these things work.

Try University of London-External Program. They have a wide range of courses and highly acclaimed. Forget India unless u want to go into politics in future and only need the papers for IEBC clearance

Try also the University of South Africa they have a wide range of courses.

you have taken the words right out of my mouth...and the fees isnt over the roof very affordable plus the certificate you will have will be valuable...

depending on course you can find UK universitie which has centre in nai but some you will have to attend evening classes. eg university of Greenwich, Wales, heriot witt (not sure of spelling). etc.

Try Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU)- BCom Programme, check their website on www.ignou.ac.in.

The partner institution in Kenya is Centre for Open and Distance Education located 2nd floor Kasneb towers, upperhill. The cordinator is Mr. Joe Mwangi Mbuthia.

Ignou is a public university in India founder under an act of parliament 1985 and the largest open university in the world.

Check more details about it from India High Commission or Commission of University Education.

True but most employers/boards don't care!!! They don't have the time to sort the good from the bad and ugly!!! I have sat in shortlisting and interviewing committees/boards where any Indian degree/masters was dismissed out of hand! Avoid Indian Universities!

How many Cabinet Secretaries have Indian qualifications? Principal secretaries? Non-Asian CEOs, MDs etc.??

What you are saying @Burningspear is true but the reality on the ground is different. @Zenge hopes to join a board one day. That might be difficult with an Indian degree!!!
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.
