The lady is good except maybe for the few who have a weird sense of humour. For me,she killed it last evening with the Ngoma joke.....Kuna aina tatu ya ngoma...and she proceeded to describe the first two.On the last one,she gave an example,

Kwa mfano;Sharles (Charles) aripovunja TV,baba yake arimuuriza,"Kaii wina Ngoma"
Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

Now, how do you expect everyone to understand that! Actually, all hee jokes are good, but majority of viewers can't understand.

@Bijuti...Since when did Kikuyu became a national language? Tiga naku!!! I have a very good sense of humour...But that one fell flat on me...Could you mind making me understand? Having said that, I love her comedy!

She's very funny especially if you inhale Nitrous Oxide.

But the thing i find boring with Kenyan comedy is that it is mostly all about accent and making fun of tribes etc. There is some creativity, which needs to be taken to anotehr level.Thing is you can't to do accents and jokes about tribes for too long ...it gets boring after some time.

hehee... Prof Egara Kabaji shares your thoughts. He wrote an interesting article on this recently. Well accents are funny so long as they're not over-milked and substance is added to them. It's like imitations. They're funny but bila additional substance they get tiring

Comedy is no joke! making people and especially grownups laugh, is an uphill task. with time Wanjiku will be the most sought out comedian.

yeah, comedy is no joke(pun intended). Especially making someone who is waiting for that punch line laugh. Some of the fellows we think are pathetic comedians are funny in real life but the great expectation on our part makes them look kawaa.
