at daily currant everyday is april fools day and its difficult to know which story is a spoof or not. anyway wouldn't be surprised if this story is true.

The black boy was not a nice little angel the evidence came out that he was a thug. He was suspended from school for assaulting the bus driver and for possession of stolen goods and burglary tools. He was also high on marijuana. His own mother also kicked him out for his violent behaviour. courts n juries after all the evidence is in have to weigh the evidnece and considering only the evidence I think they got it right on this one there was reasonable doubt

It is much more difficult to fire or demote blacks and other protected minorities. The most frightening case of misdiagnoses I ever heard of was pronounced by a black ER doctor in a northern VA hospital.
In nearly 7 yrs working in Africa I saw absolutely horrifying levels of incompetence at every level of Govt and in the professions. Many of these people were educated in the US or in the UK (aid grants) and were given degrees regardless of grades. So, Miss Coulter is not being irrational at all just politically incorrect. Which, of course, is worse than being a murderer."
Set out to correct the world's wrongs and you will most certainly wind up adding to them.

The prosecution did not put forward a strong case here. For a murder charge, you need to prove beyond reasonable doubt that GZ, had planned to kill that boy. That he woke up that day with intentions to harm him. Considering they had no real witnesses at the scene, i think they would have gone for manslaughter which equally carries a heavy sentence in Florida.

That said, Florida has some of the worst laws like the stand your ground and other gun laws. Kasin tried to reform these laws with no success, i hope this case will see some of these laws reformed.

Had GZ been black and killed a 17 yr old white kid, I would bet he would have been arrested immediately and the verdict might have been different. Had the jury consisted of more people of color and not just white, i also think the verdict would have been different. The reality of US justice system.

I hope the Federal Justice department pursues a civil rights case as GZ was no cop who decided to ignore an officers call not to follow the boy after profiling him. The family should also pursue a civil case for compensation.

Don't blame those who are raising the race card in this case. The young boy was killed while walking home from buying a snack. The wannabe cop called 911 to report a black man who was loitering in the gated community, the 911 officer told him to stop following him but he couldnt stop, he walked out of the car and started to follow the young boy who was wearing a hooded blazer, the young boy was scared but Zimmerman pounced on him and there was a struggle..the man shot him on his HEART.

PS it took 44 days before he was arrested. What danger did the boy pose? Just being black and wearing a hood? In the US if you get into an accident and unfortunately the other party dies, you are charged with manslaughter...this man was set free of all charges. Just because it wasn't clear who was shouting help! help!

Are you kidding me? I have been to three TOP institutions in USA, I am black and I have never heard of "special exams for Blacks" You mean they'll teach all races in the same class but when it is time to take exams, black students are given a different exams from the rest of the students? That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard!

Jguru, I don't know how much knowledge you have in healthcare, misdiagnoses? there are thousands of misdiagnoses every year, it touches all races and all genders, there is no know metric that shows any specific gender or race tend to misd, so you are obviously a bigot.

Incompetence in African governments and professions has nothing to do with education, it is the culture
