@Penny-stocker,

Where in Ugunja?

Ugunja is in Siaya County, about 40min drive south east of Kisumu.

@stocker, @njung'e asked where specifically. He most likely knows Ugunja.

Laughing out loudly ....I got it anyway and will certainly pass by some day in the near future.For those who would be interested,there are 3 ways of getting there but the 2 easiest are;

Approach 1.

From Ugunja centre,head North to Ligega centre (about 5Km from Ugunja on the Kisumu -Busia highway),then turn right and drive on a further 4Km to Sihai centre.You are there.

Approach 2.(All weather road)

From Kakamega,drive to Mumias and through the town.Take the road heading to Musanda.On the outskirts of Mumias town (at Bishop Hannington ACK),take the route to Matawa bridge (Nzoia river).Drive on to Indangalasia,turn left after Indangalasia and drive on to Kodongo centre.Proceed on the same road to Bar Ndege Primary and further on to Konyango and then straight on to Sihai centre.
Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

Approach 2 is close to my sugarcane plantation in Matawa.

I think what's on their side is dirt cheap labor and readily available market for everything they're producing.

I do think that Kenya generally in all corners still enjoys cheap labor a good impetus to growth and development.
