90% of vehicles on Kenyan roads face carjacking risks. It depends on the objectives of the crew jacking you. They may either:
1. Want the ride
2. Want your possessions and not the ride
3. Want the ride to commit other offences or escape

4. Want you, not the ride or your possessions. We've seen it with recent reports of spousal-planned murders.

In some way everyone driving a vehicle is vulnerable. The other 10% of vehicles with limited risks are tuk tuks, old vintage rides etc. In my informed opinion, every driver needs to be aware of the risks and how to minimize them. Always get updated information on jacking trends & heat maps (locations with high incidences). Avoid driving in areas you are not fully conversant with. I prefer taking cabs for friends rather than drop them during wee hours. Always be on the look out (situational awareness/alertness) and ensure you keep moving. Being attacked at your gate is an all time classic...if you live in such areas, better come home early or use a cab. If you have a 'vulnerable' car, drive it during day time...and park it early. Use it only to go to shagz to floss. Else buy a GLOCK handgun.

Set out to correct the world's wrongs and you will most certainly wind up adding to them.

Depends on where you wanna ride it. I know of a town where all of last week, at least one bodaboda rider was killed daily and their bikes stolen. Mind you, hizo ni Focin tu!
