I post this information to help others out there who might get conned.

I read with much interest about hydroponics fodder and decided to go try it out. I bought a greenhouse from a company called Agrotunnel International Limited. The company did indeed deliver the green house which incidentally did not work. When i finally got them, they were totally clueless about the technology and couldn't even offer basic support telling me that they are just in the business of selling greenhouses.

I had also paid for racks to be delivered and they did not deliver them. My calls for almost a month went unanswered. Till today almost 6 months down the line I have not received my racks. Calls to them go unanswered yet they have my money.

This company is a fraud and i would urge any youth dealing with them to exercise extreme caution as they are con persons. I find people like these who take advantage of hard working Kenyan citizens particularly the youth to be unscrupulous and i feel its my duty to inform others of my plight so that they don't end up making the same mistake. Consider yourselves warned.

Pole @Murungi. Businesses should only deal with what they can authrotitatively offer and serve their clients.

Agrotunnel are based in the United Republic of Rongai.

Sad.Im sure there will be many others who will fall into the same trap. im sure someone here can assist. Or at least get someone from there to own up. The facebook group farming kenya is full of exposes on agrotunnel, oliver ndegwa and his wife. They have conned too many people. Too many

I have a friend who is doing this but not from any company. He mentions it is a simple thing to do. You can also try it at home without being conned.

It can be very easy if doing at a small scale i.e growing food for your family consumption. Large scale is a different ball game. Been doing hydroponics for about 3 years now - @ a very small scale in my back shed. (may be a business opportunity is here, delivering Agri. Tech to Kenyan farmers)
