Not really, a friend of mine was jacked in a 1000cc funcargo never to be found.
Another was jacked in a 3000cc prado.
Xtrails have become favourites also.
Whats next?
Now they are pulling mirrors from mazda demios also!

Did you watch Nairobi Halflife?
Life is like playing a violin solo in public and learning the instrument as one goes on.

Its just a matter of time before the mark X becomes a high demand car. Take a walk on the streets. Kenyans love them. Mark 2 wont be a hit.

By the time your car is being stolen, there is already a market for it or it's parts. It takes about 30 minutes for a chop shop in Kariobangi to dismantle the doors, side-mirrors, tyres, mataa yote, even engine. It takes 4 hours for your car to be in TZ.

Even those Wahindi garages in Industrial Area are notorious for handling stolen cars and car parts. I hear these Wahindis have underground garages where the signals for your car trackers cannot penetrate the concrete walls, so they strip your car of every sellable car part in peace and quiet.

Toyotas I would NOT touch with a 10 foot pole. It's like driving in a coffin.

@Jguru. What do you drive my brother?
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God..

Wachana na defensive driving or defensive anything.

A .45 automatic beats a 10th Dan Black Belt or Tai Chi every day of the week.

If a Gachie Ninja points a pistol at your head and says Leta Gari, kindly but urgently, get out, give him the keys, run and don't look back.

Don't argue with guns or try to be "clever" like we do on the roads driving on the right.

Even a guy with a knife is very dangerous. One stab and he kills you.
